Garden State Parkway:
Take Exit 145 to Route I-280 East, then follow I-280 East directions.
New Jersey Turnpiks:
Take Exit 15W to Route I-280 West, then follow the directions for
Route I-280 West.
Route I-280 West:
After drawbridge, take Exit 14B (Broad Street/King Boulevard). At the
bottom of the exit ramp, make a left. Go one block to the Stop sign.
Make a left on King Boulevard. Go five lights to Warren Street. Make
a right on Warren Street. Go two blocks to Colden Street. Make a left
on Colden Street. Follow the signs to NJIT Parking Deck. The entrace
to the Student Center is at the side of the parking garage.
Route I-280 East:
Take Exit 13 (First Street, Newark). At the light, make a right on First
Street. Go three lights to W. Market Street. Make a SOFT LEFT (10 o'clock)
on W. Market (SOFT LEFT is a 45-degree angle turn, DO NOT MAKE A HARD
LEFT - that is a 90 degree angle turn - 9 o'clock in milspec parlance).
Go four lights to King Boulevard. Make a left on King Boulevard. Go
one light to Warren Street. Make a left on Warren Street. Go two blocks
to Colden Street. Make a left on Colden Street. Follow the signs to NJIT
Parking Deck. The entrace to the Student Center is at the side of the
parking garage.
Routes 1 & 9 North & South:
Take the exit marked Newark, Route 21 (McCarter Highway). Cross
the bridge. At the light at the end of the bridge, make a quick left
then quick right for Broad Street. (Follow the signs for Broad Street.)
Go about one mile. Make a left on Court Street. Make a right at the
third light on King Boulevard. Make a left at the fifth light on Warren
Street. Go two blocks to Colden Street. Make a left on Colden Street.
Follow the signs to NJIT Parking Deck. The entrace to the Student Center
is at the side of the parking garage.
Route I-78:
Take Route I-78 to the Garden State Parkway. Follow the directions
above for the Garden State Parkway.
Route 22:
Take Route 22 to Route 21 North. Follow the directions for Route
21 North.
Route 21 North:
Cross the bridge. At the light at the end of the bridge, make a quick
left then a quick right for Broad Street. (Follow the signs for Broad
Street.) Go about one mile. Make a left on Court Street. Make a right at the
third light on King Boulevard. Make a left at the fifth light on Warren
Street. Go two blocks to Colden Street. Make a left on Colden Street.
Follow the signs to NJIT Parking Deck. The entrace to the Student Center
is at the side of the parking garage.
Route 21 South:
From Route 21 south, turn right on Bridge Street. Turn left on Broad
Street. Go one block and turn right on Washington Place. Go one
block and turn left on Halsey Street. Go one block and turn right
on Central Avenue. Make the third left on King Boulevard. At the
first light, turn right on Warren Street. Go two blocks to Colden
Street. Make a left on Colden Street. Follow the signs to NJIT Parking
Deck. The entrace to the Student Center is at the side of the parking
garage.
New York Thruway:
Thruway to Exit 14A, Garden State Parkway. Follow the directions for
the Garden State Parkway.
George Washington Bridge:
New Jersey Turnpike to Exit 15W. Follow the directions for Route
I-280 West.
Lincoln Tunnel:
Route 3 West to New Jersey Turnpike South to Exit 15W. Follow the
directions for Route I-280 West.
Public Transportation:
Take the PATH train to Newark Penn Station. Take the Newark Subway
(outbound) to Warren Street (three stops). Walk down Warren Street
to Colden, and enter the Student Center at the side.
